This Privacy Policy explains how Nextbranden Advisory Pty Ltd (ABN 68 491 207 336) collects, uses, discloses and protects your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

1. Who we are

Nextbranden Advisory Pty Ltd is an Australian company registered in New South Wales, operating the website nextbranden.com. We provide general financial literacy advisory, grant application support and tax offset eligibility checks for residents of Australia.

2. Personal information we collect

We collect the information you voluntarily provide through our forms (full name, email address, phone number when applicable), information about your eligibility situation (household composition, state of residence, approximate income range) and technical information (IP address, device type, pages viewed). We never ask for your Tax File Number through online forms.

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to prepare your free eligibility report, to communicate with you about Australian government payments, grants and tax offsets you may be entitled to, to improve our website, and to comply with our legal obligations, including those under the Tax Agent Services Act 2009 and the Corporations Act 2001.

4. Disclosure to third parties

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with vetted service providers (secure email, CRM and cloud hosting located in Australia or countries with equivalent protection), with licensed tax and financial advisors within our network, and when required by Australian law, regulator or court order.

5. Data security and retention

Personal information is stored on servers located in Sydney, Australia, with industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We retain your data for up to 7 years as required by Australian taxation record-keeping rules, after which it is securely destroyed.

6. Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles you can request access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, withdraw consent to marketing at any time, and lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

7. International transfers

Where data is transferred outside Australia, Nextbranden takes reasonable steps to ensure the overseas recipient handles the information in accordance with the APPs.
